blue doors....

Posting recent photos of red doors in Tibet has reminded me of all the blue doors we saw last summer in Peru; in Cusco and in the Sacred Valley. I don't know why they paint their doors blue there, but I wish I had taken more photos of them....

weaving rainbows....

On the sunny side of the Andes but only kilometres from the Amazon rainforest, the Quechua people create textiles that contain the entire rainbow.
