Ken HouseGo. Lunar Alignment, Full Moon. Mixed media construction. 2012. |
I am looking again at Ken
HouseGo’s work, Lunar Alignment: Full Moon.
Beneath the surface in the dark sky surrounding the luminous moon, there are corkscrew shapes embedded, each of them directed towards the sphere.
Each a single helix, a half of a strand of DNA looking for its completion. Each a sperm looking for its home in the egg.
The always-and-everywhere imminence of creation.
For a closer look at Lunar Alignment, Full Moon, see my post of February 25th, entitled "Skin". Or see more of HouseGo's work at http://www.kenhousego-studio.info.
